Ingredients

Salad Components
  • 1 package (3.4 oz / 96g) Instant Banana Cream Pudding Mix Not cook-and-serve
  • 1.5 cups (360ml) Cold Whole Milk Must be very cold
  • 1 container (8 oz / 226g) Whipped Topping Thawed
  • 2 cups (100g) Mini Marshmallows White and soft
  • 1 box (11 oz / 312g) Vanilla Wafer Cookies Divided (whole, broken, and crushed)
  • 3 large Fresh Bananas Sliced into rounds

Equipment

  • 1 Large white ceramic bowl For mixing and presentation
  • 1 Silicone Spatula For folding ingredients without deflating
  • 1 Wire Whisk For making the pudding base

Method

Prepare the Pudding
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is a uniform pale yellow mousse.
Assemble the Fluff
  1. Fold in the mini marshmallows and 1.5 cups of broken vanilla wafers.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the marshmallows to soften and flavors to meld.
  3. Before serving, top with fresh banana slices, whole vanilla wafers, and a heavy dusting of crushed wafer crumbs.

Notes

Use cold milk for the best set.
Add fresh bananas just before serving to prevent browning.
