Prepare the Pudding
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Let stand for 5 minutes.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is a uniform pale yellow mousse.
Assemble the Fluff
- Fold in the mini marshmallows and 1.5 cups of broken vanilla wafers.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the marshmallows to soften and flavors to meld.
- Before serving, top with fresh banana slices, whole vanilla wafers, and a heavy dusting of crushed wafer crumbs.
