- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the packed brown sugar, soy sauce, and minced garlic until combined. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the pork chops in the hot skillet and sear for 3-5 minutes on each side, until a golden-brown crust forms.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour the brown sugar glaze over the pork chops. Allow it to simmer and thicken for 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the pork. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, and serve.
