- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, grated cheddar cheese, dry ranch seasoning, and green onions with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and fully combined.
- Transfer the cheese mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. Use the wrap to help form the mixture into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- In a shallow dish, combine the chopped toasted pecans and crumbled bacon. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it in the mixture, pressing gently to coat the entire surface.
- Transfer the cheese ball to a platter and serve with your favorite crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.
