Ingredients

For the Roll Ups
  • 4 Large Burrito-Size Flour Tortillas
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 lb Thinly Sliced Deli Roast Beef
  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
For the Au Jus
  • 2 cups Low-Sodium Beef Broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

Equipment

  • 1 Small saucepan
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Serrated Knife

Method

Make the Au Jus
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 tsp onion powder, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Keep warm.
Assemble the Roll Ups
  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp onion powder, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder until smooth.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire tortilla.
  3. Layer with 2 slices of provolone cheese, then a single layer of roast beef.
  4. Roll the tortilla up tightly. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
Chill, Slice, and Serve
  1. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Unwrap and use a sharp serrated knife to slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
  3. Serve immediately with the warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

Tip 1: For the cleanest slices, don't skip the chilling step! It helps the roll ups firm up and hold their shape.
Tip 2: Use a serrated knife (like a bread knife) for slicing to avoid squishing the rolls.
Tip 3: Assemble the rolls a day ahead and slice just before serving for an easy party prep.
