- In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side-down, into a cold non-stick skillet. Top with the shredded mozzarella and provolone cheeses. Place the second slice of bread on top, with the buttered side facing up.
- Place the skillet over medium-low heat. Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is fully melted and gooey.
- Remove from skillet, slice diagonally, and serve immediately for the best experience.

For the best melt, shred your own cheese from a block.
