Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, and salt. Mix until a smooth compound butter forms.
- Spread the garlic butter generously onto one side of each sourdough slice.
Cooking
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a cold skillet. Layer the shredded cheddar and mozzarella evenly across the bread.
- Set heat to medium-low. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is a deep golden-brown and the cheese begins to melt.
- Place the second slice on top (butter-side up) and flip carefully. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is drooping and the crust is visible.
