Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Glaze
  • 2 lbs Jumbo Shrimp (16/20 count) Peeled and deveined, tails on (900g)
  • 1/2 cup Honey Clover or Wildflower (120ml)
  • 2 tbsp Neutral Oil Avocado or Grapeseed oil (30ml)
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (15ml)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (5g)
  • 1 tsp Dried Red Chili Flakes Divided use (5g)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Finely chopped (15g)
  • 1 whole Lemon Cut into wedges

Equipment

  • 8 Wooden Skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes prior to use.
  • 1 Outdoor Grill or Grill Pan High heat is essential for char marks.
  • 1 Silicone Basting Brush Used for applying the honey glaze.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Submerge wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Whisk honey, oil, vinegar, garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp chili flakes in a bowl until glistening and thick.
Grilling
  1. Thread 4-5 jumbo shrimp onto each skewer and brush generously with the honey glaze.
  2. Place skewers on a high-heat grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes until dark brown char marks appear.
  3. Flip, brush with more glaze, and cook for 2 minutes more until shrimp are pink-orange and opaque.

Notes

Always soak wooden skewers for 30 mins to avoid fire.
Apply fresh parsley and chili flakes only after grilling for maximum color contrast.
