Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out thawed puff pastry and cut into 18 equal squares total.
- Place 6 squares on the tray. Layer with ham and cheese, add a second pastry square, more ham and cheese, and top with a third pastry square.
- Brush the tops of the stacks with melted butter. Generously sprinkle with poppy seeds and dried herbs.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling and browned at the edges.
Notes
Use a sharp blade to cut the pastry to ensure the layers aren't compressed.
