- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth.
- Slowly pour in the buttermilk while continuing to whisk until the dressing is well combined.
- Add the dried dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- For best results, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Stir again before serving.
Notes
Consistency Tip: For a thicker dip-style ranch, reduce the buttermilk to 1/4 cup. For a thinner dressing, add more buttermilk, one tablespoon at a time.
