  • 12 Wooden Skewers Soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 1 Cast Iron Grill Pan Or outdoor grill
  • 1 Silicone Basting Brush

Method

Preparation
  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar in a pan. Whisk in cornstarch slurry and simmer until thick and glossy. Set aside 1/3 of the sauce.
Cooking
  1. Thread chicken cubes onto skewers. Grill over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until char marks appear.
  2. Brush with the reserved clean glaze in the final 2 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.

Notes

Always soak wooden skewers to achieve the charred look without fire hazard.
Use a high smoke-point oil to prevent sticking.
