Preparation
- Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. Cut into 1-inch cubes. Toss with salt and cornstarch until lightly coated.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes until dark caramelized crispy edges form. Flip and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir until the sauce is a thick, glistening amber-colored translucent glaze.
- Toss the salmon cubes to coat thoroughly. Transfer to a white ceramic bowl. Top with sesame seeds and scallion rings.
