Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix in egg whites and apple cider vinegar until a crumbly paste forms.
Activation and Shaping
- Pour boiling water into the bowl. Mix on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until dough is thick and elastic. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Divide into 6 balls. Place on parchment paper and flatten slightly into bun shapes.
Glazing and Baking
- Brush tops with whisked egg yolk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and finely chopped parsley.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and firm. Cool completely before slicing horizontally.
