- Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray. Line with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add the 16-ounce bag of mini marshmallows and stir until completely smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, followed by the chopped Oreos and the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and gently press into an even layer with a greased spatula.
- Let the treats cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour to set completely.
- Lift the treats from the pan using the parchment paper, and slice into 16 squares.
Notes
Use Fresh Marshmallows: For the best gooey texture, make sure your marshmallows are fresh and soft.
