Ingredients

Raspberry Lemon Drop Components
  • 2 oz Vodka 60ml, premium neutral vodka
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice 30ml, freshly squeezed
  • 0.75 oz Simple Syrup 22ml, 1:1 ratio
  • 6 whole Fresh Raspberries 30g, for muddling
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes 200g, for shaking
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar 25g, for the rim
  • 1 thin slice Lemon Wheel
  • 3 whole Fresh Raspberries For the skewer

Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail shaker Weighted preferred
  • 1 Fine Mesh Strainer For double-straining
  • 1 Coupe Glass Chilled
  • 1 Wooden Skewer For garnish

Method

Prepare the Glass
  1. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a chilled coupe glass. Dip into granulated sugar to create a thick, even coating.
Mix the Drink
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle 6 fresh raspberries with the simple syrup until pulverized.
  2. Add vodka and lemon juice. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the shaker is frosted and beads of condensation form.
  3. Double strain through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh sieve into the prepared coupe glass to ensure a smooth texture with fine ice crystals.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Place a thin lemon wheel on the surface. Thread 3 raspberries onto a wooden skewer and rest horizontally across the glass.

Notes

Always use fresh lemon juice; bottled juice will lack the necessary brightness.
Double straining is the secret to a professional, seed-free fuchsia appearance.
