Preparation

Mixing the Dough

- Fold in 1.5 cups of cheddar, then stir in the buttermilk until just combined. The dough will be lumpy and craggy.
Baking
- Spoon dough into the pan without smoothing. Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 45-50 minutes until deep golden-brown.
- Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush over the hot loaf immediately after removing from the oven.
