Roast the Garlic
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic heads, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
- Roast for 35-40 minutes until the cloves are caramelized brown and soft. Cool completely before squeezing cloves out of the skins.
Assemble the Butter
- In a medium bowl, combine softened butter with the roasted garlic cloves. Smash the cloves gently with a spatula to integrate.
- Add finely chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and lemon zest. Fold until ingredients are evenly distributed and oil trails appear.
- Transfer to a white ceramic bowl. Garnish with additional parsley and chili flakes for a professional visual finish.
